Ground your Energies 3 Day Retreat:

Thursday evening (7pm) to Sunday morning (10am)

Yoga Detox Retreat featuring Meditations with Orchid Essences

​

This retreat will take place at a stunning lakeside getaway in Eden, Utah.  Enjoy the breathtaking views of Pineview Reservoir or Snowbasin Ski Resort while sitting on the patio. Directly out the front door is running/bike trail that nearly completely encircles the lake. There are also two kayaks available for use on site. The area is packed with wildlife, rivers, and streams. A great opportunity to relax, and center while connecting to the surrounding beauty.

Connect with your deepest core essence, and ground that essence into the Earth. Between the practice of yoga, meditation coupled with energy medicine, nature and detoxing food, this will be a weekend of transformation. Yoga helps us connect to the energies inside of us through physical movement and breathe work. We will practice pranayama yoga in the morning, active yoga in the afternoon and restorative yoga in the evening. We will dedicate 2-3 hours per day in meditation, which can help us unlock the mysteries of our thoughts and minds to ascend from limiting perceptions of self. Integrated with energy medicine, this can give us further outside perspectives and energetic pathways that can accelerate the transformative power of meditation. Nature is the ultimate healer of all, spending quality time in silence surrounded by the magic and beauty of natural elements can bring an ease in our being, a patience and a softness that is often lacking in our fast-paced modern society. Plant based cuisine has the potential of releasing a build up of toxins in our system, it also has the potential of restoring and reversing specific ailments that we face, when done appropriately and in tune with our body's needs.

Facilitators: 

​

Reina, began a consistent yoga practice after an inspirational college yoga course 18 years ago. After 11 years of practice she certified as an instructor through InBody Yoga Academy, D’ana Baptiste’s 500 hr Certification Program and has been teaching ever since. She is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT which necessitates over 2000 hours of teaching experience. Reina is also a Yoga Alliance Certified Educational Provider and Yoga Teacher Trainer with multiple Yoga Alliance Certified Schools. She has taught at numerous studios as well as corporate and private settings and has further trained and certified in the areas of pre and postnatal yoga, biomechanics, alignment, restorative yoga, and meditation. She has studied with senior teachers such as Donna Farhi, Richard Miller, Charlotte Bell, Susan McLaughlin, Bryan Kest, Thich Nhat Hanh, Baron Baptiste, Sifu Matthew Cohen, Sunny Rose Healey and in Kerala, India with Peter Francyk. In addition to the knowledge of the body received through yoga training, Reina worked for the fire department for five years during which time she became certified as an EMT, BLS, CPR, and First Aid Instructor. She transitioned from the reactive to the proactive side of health after witnessing firsthand the health benefits of a yogic lifestyle.

Esther Shanti, M.S. is a plant based chef, health consultant and energy worker who uses food and orchid/nature essences to help align inner energies with vitality.  Passionate about the environment and sustainability, she obtained a B.A. in Environmental Law, an M.S. in Soil Science and certificates in Permaculture Design and Advanced Agroforestry.  She has worked with plant based medicine — foods and essences with individuals and companies in India, Utah, and Brazil. Her mission is to unlock the massive healing potential within others through the power of plants via enhancing their connection to their own inner wisdom and the Earth.

10 a.m.                        Introduction to meditation with orchids, my journey with orchids by Esther

10:30 a.m.                   Orchid meditation by Esther featuring Living Tree Orchid Essence: Being Present.  

                                    A calming and soothing essence, this essence helps us to fully emerge ourselves with the                                         presence of our surroundings

 

11 a.m.                         Active yoga by Reina

 

12 p.m.                       Whole foods veganic lunch by Esther

                                   Fresh salad, with home-made raw vegan dressing

                                   Lightly steamed green vegetables

                                   baked sweet potatoes and indian spiced lentils

 

1 p.m.                          Embracing the energies: journaling time in a comfortable location. Use your imagination                                            and creativity to dream up the ideal life of your choosing. Meditate and reflect on what you                                      would like to create for the future plus the internal qualities that can be cultivated.    

                                   “What would I do if I were not afraid?”. This practice can be coupled with Winged Gold                                              Orchid Essence for those interested. This essence can help awaken one to the inner fire                                          calling of the soul's mission and destiny. Being with this essence can bring out the                                                      fecundity of the sacred and the flowing purpose of our lives.

 

2 p.m.                         Walking Orchid Meditation by Esther featuring Living Tree Orchid Essence: Walking to                                              Earth's Rhythm by Esther. Get in touch with the earth, take those shoes and socks off and                                          feel the the vibrations of the earth as you tread on her skin. Allow this essence to help you                                        access her energies easier and give away the internal blockages keeping you from your                                          true power. Give away your sorrows and your struggles to the earth, as you embrace the                                          divine love and support from the mother. 

 

3 p.m.                         Sitting Orchid Meditation by Esther featuring Living Tree Orchid Essence: Inner Peace.

                                   This essence prepares one to experience true peace, as known by those who have                                                  reached the highest levels of their spiritual journey. "That Peace which surpasses all                                                  Understanding." This orchid's extraordinary gift to us can be seen as a new energetic                                                constellation, which is perhaps the ultimate gift of the orchids.

5 p.m.                         Whole foods veganic dinner by Esther

                                    Cleanse the lower chakra energies while aligning the body for a framework that                                                         allows a more grounded energy to flow within, in addition to more space around the heart.

1 p.m.                          Emerging with the energies: journaling time in a comfortable location. What are your                                                  deepest wishes? What gifts would you like to bring to the world? What gifts do you bring to                                      the world that are uniquely yours? What are all the moments in your life that you have been                                      deeply grateful for? What have been some of the blessings that have come from the                                                   moments of severe challenge in your life? What are some of the challenges you face                                                 currently? This journaling exercise can be coupled with Orchid Essences: Rising to the Call                                       of Beauty, Pushing Back the Night. These essences have a beautiful uplifting effect and                                             have been created to help ease the suffering of the world. To allow us to compassion for                                         our own suffering as well as suffering on a global scale and redirect our energies to that of                                       integrity and the creation of beauty in our world. This is done in a way to not let us feel                                             overwhelmed or downtrodden, yet inspired and uplifted to our own innate power of in                                               simply being.

2 p.m.                         Healing through foods by Esther. Esther will share her experience in learning how to work                                        with foods to heal the body and the mind. What are some common pitfalls for those                                                    attempting to carry out diet changes, and how to overcome them. What are the best ways                                        to balance nutrients and to make sure that all of the nutrients are being gotten in the diet.                                        Easy steps are given on ways to make sure that the body is getting what it needs and                                                guidance in helping others heal through foods. 

 

3 p.m.                         Walking Orchid Meditation by Esther featuring Living Tree Orchid Essence: Orchid Earth                                          and Water Element. Bring a strength and stability to your core with the strong grounding                                            energies of Gaia. Allow her energies to purify and nurture. Take those shoes off, feel the                                          earth and the elements working through you.
